The Adult Basic Skills Professional Development Project is housed in the College of Education at Applalachian State University. We work with the North Carolina Community College System in training adult educators. We conduct workshops across the state, produce training materials for the community college system, and conduct week-long summer institutes at Appalachian. We have been providing this service since 1988.
